Later in the mid-90s, they began to work on the paddy field as laborers along with their traditional occupation. They also engage in hunting, rearing, and archery in their early times. The people of Muthanai village belong to the Kuravar tribal community, mostly engaged in knitting baskets, and have lived there since 1970.
